Italian Ice Cream

DSC07997

I took this picture last week and I kept it inside my camera memory until now. I forgot to publish this picture until I wanted to transfer some other pictures to my laptop.

This was a super duper big ice cream. It contained three flavours: Durian, Mint and Green Tea. The Durian flavour is the most popular one, but Chia Lynn and me refused to take it due to its smell. We just let Wick Kee to finish up that flavour, whereas, Chia Lynn and me was aiming at  the Mint and Green Tea’s flavour. I warn Wick Kee not to speak to me after he had taken the durian flavour.hahaha. In fact, all flavours are fully hand-made and contain the true ingredients inside with the least chemicals. So, can you imagine how strong the durian smell is in his mouth? hahahaha

Despite the durian smell, everything is fun in the ice-cream shop. I love to gossip and talk non-stop with friends when I am free. I learn something by hearing other people’s experience. In meantime, there are jokes, which are going to make you laugh openly. This is a true happiness.

Time flies as usual. No one can stop it. My middle semester break is fulfilled by study plan. What can I do other than that? Two tests are coming soon after the break. I have to catch up all lecture that I have missed out.

I met a promoter of skin products at Melbourne Central. I was irritating of her act. Maybe that is the working attitude of Western’s promoter. I ever be a promoter too at Malaysia. Our Asian's way of serving customers are totally different from them. First, I am called by the promoter in a very rude way. She just say: “ YOU, COME”. Ok, well. Will you call your customers like that? But, I still walk to her stall and pretended to be interested in her products. In fact, I did not plan to make any purchase. So, when I refused to buy anything from her at the end, she just say: “OK, BYE BYE”.

I do not think she need to be so rush in pushing me off since there was no customer around. She did not give me any smile at all. Maybe is because she earn nothing from me. Hence, she thought that there was no point to treat me as a customer.  I did not expect a very high privilege service from her, but, at lease she needed to be polite if she wanted to earn people’s money. It is difficult to maintain a balance between customers and seller. Customers always stand at a higher position than seller because they are the one who pay the money. This concept is not practiced by any Australian so far.  I just can say that the promoter was too straight forward in expressing her thinking.

Anyhow, the moral of the story for me is that do not approach or get approach the stall’s promoters at Melbourne Central unless I really want to buy the products.
